Abstract

The talk examines changes in world oil and natural gas markets: in the geography of production, consumption and trade, in the balance of supply and demand, and in the influence of geopolitical, technological and institutional factors on the structure of these markets.

It analyses Russia's position: the shift in export destinations, the redistribution of trade flows and the industry's adaptation to sanctions. The talk discusses the competitiveness of Russian oil and gas in established and new markets, the development of transport and export infrastructure, and possible directions in the evolution of world oil and gas markets and their implications for the Russian oil and gas industry.
